During China’s Han Dynasty, Viceroy Zhou Yu (played by the incomperable Tony Leung) leads a rebellion against General Cao Cao when he wages war on the southern provinces to unify the nation. Employing new and unconventional tactics, Zhou Yu gives the overwhelming forces a fight they weren’t expecting.
Rosaline (2022)
Hulu — October 14
Advertised with the tagline “Meet Romeo’s ex,” Hulu’s Rosaline is a highly anticipated remix of Shakespeare’s classic Romeo and Juliet and one of the best new streaming movies this week. Kaitlyn Dever stars as Rosaline, Juliet’s cousin and Romeo’s ex who schemes to break the new couple up in this comedic take on the timeless tragedy.

I Think We’re Alone Now (2018)

Kayley Cuoco and Pete Davidson star in this romantic comedy on Peacock, one of the best new streaming movies to watch this week. Sheila and Gary seem perfect for each other. After a chance encounter, it looks like love at first sight. But it’s not. At least not for Sheila, who has been using a time machine to relive a perfect date. When that gets old, she goes further back, hoping to shape Gary into an even better match for herself.
